TV personality Meghan McCain said she thinks about her father “every single day” as she paid tribute on the third anniversary of John McCain’s death.

“How has it been 3 years…? You left a void in this world by leaving it that will never be filled,” Meghan McCain wrote Wednesday on Instagram.

“And when you left, so much light went with you.”

The tribute post included a photo showing John McCain sitting on a bench and smiling.

The politician, who was an Arizona senator for more than 30 years, died at age 81 in 2018 after a battle with brain cancer.

The Republican ran for president in 2008, when Barack Obama was elected for his first term.

“I miss your laugh, your humor, your wisdom, your cooking… I miss everything,” Meghan McCain wrote in her tribute. “I love you forever, Dad.”

Meghan McCain, 36, co-hosted her final episode of the daytime talk show “The View” earlier this month. The conservative media personality had joined the series in 2017.
