Mom-to-be Meghan McCain is staying mum on her pregnancy.
"The View" co-host and daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain revealed on Twitter that she won't share any aspect of her pregnancy with the public after receiving hurtful comments about her father's death. McCain died in August 2018 from brain cancer.
"People keep asking and requesting I show pics & details of my pregnancy," the 35-year-old tweeted Thursday. "Given that people write on photos I put up of my family they are glad my Dad got cancer and he’s in hell, I thought I would leave my unborn child out of the social media cess pool as much as is possible."
McCain said the "inhumane" bullying she endured during her father's cancer battle taught her "a lot of hard lessons about cruelty that comes with being open and vulnerable about my personal life."
"I know this is an unorthodox choice for a talk show host who is on tv five days a week - but I’ve always lived by the beat of my own drum," McCain explained on Instagram.

After finding out they were expecting, the television personality said the couple "made the conscious decision to guard our (growing) families (sic) privacy."
"I believe children have a right to privacy and hope you will all understand as we navigate this as much as possible going forward without sacrificing our comfort or safety," she added on Instagram.
Meghan McCain on husband Ben Domenech: 'Conservative men have better family values'
Despite keeping her pregnancy out of the public, McCain is not shy about sharing how supportive Domenech has been throughout her journey to motherhood amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"If somebody told me the first night we met when we did nothing but laugh and drink whiskey neat until the sun came up that one day you would be taking care of me, keeping me calm, cooking my every craving, rubbing my back, making me turn off cable news when I start to cry because of the intense pain and suffering our country is in, play scrabble and Mario Kart with me anytime I want and doing anything and everything to make this upside down nightmare a comfortable haven while I was pregnant with your baby and quarantined during the apocalypse... I would have thought one of you were smoking something really powerful," she captioned an Instagram photo with Domenech.
McCain tied the knot with Domenech, 38, in November 2017 at her family's ranch in Sedona, Arizona, with her father by her side.
