Meghan McCain Tears Down ‘Gross’ Kellyanne Conway, Hints She’s Voting Biden Over Trump
The last time Meghan McCain called out former View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, she did so without using her name. She was a lot more direct Wednesday night on Watch What Happens Live.
Host Andy Cohen asked McCain point-blank what she thought about Hasselbeck saying on The View last month that we should all “pray away” the coronavirus.
“Yeah, somebody actually sent me a screenshot of my face when she said that,” McCain said. “I took this virus seriously from the very beginning and thought this rhetoric was really dangerous. I think it’s really, really unfortunate and dangerous that she said that. I don’t need to co-host with her again. And it’s unfortunate because I’ve been a huge fan for a long time. And anyone who’s screwing around with this virus and putting out misinformation, I don’t have a lot of time for that right now.”
The conservative pundit also addressed whether she’ll be voting for Joe Biden over Donald Trump in the presidential election this fall. “So I just had a long conversation with him a few days ago,” she said of Biden. “I love him dearly. And I keep telling everyone I will promise you will know who I’m voting for but it won’t take a rocket scientist to know there is one who has made pain and my life [a] living hell and another man who has literally shepherded me through the grief process. This really shouldn’t be rocket science for people.”
“Wow,” Cohen said in response.
McCain went on to say that Biden has been “so integral” in her life, especially since her father, Senator John McCain, got sick. “I’m always like my heart over my head in so many different ways and the Trumps, they’re always making my mom cry,” she said. “I just think politics is personal, too, and character is really important.” Unlike Trump, she said she views Biden as someone who will “tamp down fear and anger instead of making it worse.”

And later, during a game of “White House or Housewife”—judged by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), no less—McCain correctly guessed that a quote about someone married to a “total whackjob” was Trump talking about Kellyanne Conway and her Trump-hating husband George.
Asked what’s “really going on there,” McCain said, “I think it’s awful. And I think that they have four kids that are going to read this crap and I think it’s awful on both their parts.”
“I don’t care if it’s their kink or whatever, I think it’s horrible. Marriage anti-goals,” she continued. “I think they’re both gross.” As Cohen tried to move on, McCain added, “One more thing. Don’t call me or email me, Kellyanne, I don’t care. She does that every time I say something.”
