Oct. 19—UNC Asheville joins the North Carolina College Foundation for the Countdown to College for the third consecutive year. During College Application Week, Oct. 17-21, application fees for North Carolina residents, including transfer students, are waived.

The application fee for UNC Asheville typically costs $75.

Students may choose to apply for Early Action or Regular Decision. The deadlines for Early Action are Nov. 15 and Jan. 15. The Regular Decision application deadline is Feb. 1, though a student may submit their application at any time before that date. Transfer students are encouraged to apply by Nov. 15 for spring 2023 or June 15 for fall 2023. Apply at unca.edu/apply/.

In addition to College Application Week, UNC Asheville will host an Open House Saturday, Oct. 22.

While UNCA's Open House date is full with a waitlist, the university encourages prospective students to sign-up for one of its daily tours and information sessions. Register at unca.edu/admission/visit/open-house-tours/.
