HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– A man who was part of a rap group that was caught trafficking drugs in Harrisburg will be spending over 10 years in prison after he was sentenced.

Ortiz’s sentencing is the latest one imposed on eight people who were indicted for drug trafficking from 2018 to 2020 and are members of the rap group “NFL” or “Never Forget Loyalty,” according to United States Attorney Gerard Karam.

The rap group posted videos online that were filmed in places around Harrisburg, including 1621 Market Street, and in the videos, the members were brandishing guns, flashing cash and displaying drugs, the DOJ says.

There was a yearlong investigation that saw a series of searches done by the ATF and local law enforcement where investigators found the rap group’s arsenal which included a machine gun, assault rifles and other weapons with extended magazines.
