CANTON — Memorial Day services were held in Canton, Monday beginning at Jones Park.

The guest speaker was veteran and member of American Legion Post 16, Neil Williams.

Xander Fields recited the Gettysburg Address.

Roxann Richardson recited the poem, Flanders Field.

Honor Guard is comprised of members of the American Legion Post 16, VFW Post 1984 and Fulton County V-812.

Post 16 Chaplain Randy Weaver provided both the invocation and benediction.

The Memorial Day observation continued at the Veterans Memorial at Lakeland.
