May 26—All Caldwell County offices will be closed Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.

County offices will re-open on Tuesday, May 31. For more information, contact Public Information Officer Paige Counts at pcounts@caldwellcountync.org.

City Hall and recreational facilities will be closed Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.

City of Lenoir garbage schedule week of May 30 — June 4:

If your garbage is normally picked up on Monday, May 30, it will be picked up on Wednesday, June 1. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule.

There will be no bulk collections during this week.

The Recycling Center will also be closed on Monday, May 30.

Caldwell County Veterans Services will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.

There will be Memorial Day events that day at the following locations and times:

Hudson: HUB Station, 9 a.m.

Lenoir: Square downtown, 10 a.m.

Sawmills: Veterans Park, 11 a.m. (rain date Friday, June 4)

Lenoir ABC Store, 1326 Connelly Springs Rd., will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The other Lenoir ABC Store, located at 115 ABC Ct. NE, will be open for regular business hours.
