Here are some of the Memorial Day-related ceremonies this weekend

Looking to observe Memorial Day and honor those who died defending their country? Here's a look at some of the ceremonies on the schedule for the holiday weekend.

Charles Denby VFW Post 2953

Monday, 10 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery, 1800 Saint George Road, Evansville.

The service will feature a 21-gun salute and the names of all veterans who were serviced by Sunset since last Memorial Day will be read. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be streamed on Facebook.

Art Fellwock VFW Post 1114

Monday, 9 a.m. at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville.

Anyone wishing to assist with the ceremony should arrive by 8:30 a.m.

American Legion Funkhouser Post

Monday, 11 a.m., Oak Hill Cemetery, 1400 E. Virginia St., Evansville.

American Legion Kapperman Post

Saturday, 10:30 a.m. for music and a service at 11 a.m. at 5133 Indiana 261 in Newburgh, Indiana.

American Legion Pate Post

Saturday at 8:30 a.m., flags will be distributed at Park Lawn Cemetery, 1526 S. Green River Road in Evansville. A service will be take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Monday, 10:30 a.m., 610 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville.

The service will feature a 21-gun salute to five branches of service, and the playing of "Taps."
