Memorial Day Weekend: What Palm Beach County stores are open, closed?

WEST PALM BEACH — There's nothing worse than hunting for an open grocery store on a holiday. Here's a roundup of Memorial Day hours for stores around the Palm Beaches.

Grocery stores

Publix, Earth Fare, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Winn Dixie and Whole Foods will keep regular hours on Memorial Day.

Aldi will close at 6 p.m., two and a half hours earlier than the store's regular hours.

Pharmacies

Most CVS pharmacies are keeping regular hours on Memorial Day, it may differ with location.

Although Walgreens' stores will be open Monday, the stores' pharmacies will be closed.

Big box stores

  • Costco will be closed on Memorial Day.

  • Target, K-Mart and Walmart are keeping regular hours.

Home supply and outdoor stores

Bass Pro Shops, Home Depot and Lowe's will all be open, some closing times may differ based on location.

Department and specialty stores

  • Banana Republic will be open. The Banana Republic at the Gardens Mall will close at 6 p.m. and the location at the Tanger Outlets will close at 8 p.m.

  • Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Dillard's, Marshall's and HomeGoods will be open.

  • Most Petsmart, Ulta, Sephora and Hobby Lobby stores will have modified hours.

Palm Tran bus and Tri-Rail train Memorial Day schedules

There will be no Palm Tran bus service on Memorial Day. Tri-Rail will be operating on its weekend schedule.

Palm Beach County libraries and schools

All public libraries and schools will be closed for Memorial Day.
