Memorial park in town of Lafayette opens with memorial stones, flags

Jun. 8—TOWN OF LAFAYETTE — When Barb Barrickman heard a memorial park was being planned near Ray's Beach in the town of Lafayette, she started developing ideas for what could be included in the park.

Barrickman, a member of the Lake Wissota Garden Club, said her group went to work in getting a Blue Star marker for the park. The Blue Star is for roadside parks across the state.
