Memphis basketball score vs. Temple: Live updates for Penny Hardaway's Tigers

Memphis basketball has a score to settle with Temple today.

The last time the Tigers traveled to Philadelphia − Jan. 24, 2019, Penny Hardaway's first season as coach − the Owls won 85-76.

But Memphis (12-5, 2-2 AAC) must focus more on getting a win regardless of opponent. The Tigers have lost two of their last three games and suddenly find themselves back on the NCAA Tournament bubble with 14 regular-season games remaining.

If Memphis is to bounce back from its double-overtime loss at UCF earlier this week, it will likely have to beat Temple (10-8, 4-1) without senior guard Alex Lomax, who left Wednesday's game with a groin injury. Senior big man Malcolm Dandridge (ankle) will miss his seventh straight game as well.
