Memphis defensive lineman Cam'Ron Jackson enters transfer portal
Memphis defensive lineman Cam'Ron Jackson become the latest player on Wednesday to enter the transfer portal.
Jackson signed with the Tigers in 2020 after de-committing from LSU. He appeared in all 12 games last season and had nine tackles
As a true freshman, Jackson appeared in nine games in 2020. He had a blocked kick in the Tigers' win over UCF.
Jackson is the fourth defensive lineman to enter the portal since December. With John Tate IV exhausting his eligibility, the Tigers will need to develop some more depth at that position.

The Tigers still have starters in Morris Joseph, Wardalis Ducksworth as well as Maurice White. Defensive tackle Zy Brockington played in 10 games as a true freshman. Cincir Evans played 11 games but registered one tackle.
Memphis also signed five defensive linemen within the past two seasons, including three-star recruit Joshua White in December. With Jackson gone, the Tigers will have to hope some of that youth can develop in spring practice.
Fifteen players have now transferred from Memphis since the start of December
