The Tigers have almost completely revamped their kicking room after last season. Kicker Alex Raynor committed to Memphis after three seasons at Georgia Southern and senior punter Reid Bauer signed in December after transferring from Arkansas. Raynor has two seasons of eligibility left while this will be Bauer's final season after graduating from Arkansas. Memphis also added in-state kicker Mark Shenouda from Mount Juliet High School.

The Tigers will need to replace punter Joe Doyle and All-AAC kicker Chris Howard who both exhausted their eligibility. Freshman kicker David Kemp also transferred after the regular season.
