Memphis football gets commitment from DB/WR Traveon Wright
Memphis football added another commitment Sunday with defensive back/receiver Traveon Wright. He's the second player to commit to the Tigers since Saturday evening.
The 6-foot-2, 165-pound Wright, who made his decision via Twitter, attends Perry High School in Perry, Georgia and is unranked by 247Sports. Rivals has him listed as a three-star recruit.

The Tigers held official visits for recruits this weekend and the first commitment came Saturday with three-star linebacker Karmelo Overton from Ozark, Alabama. Memphis now has 18 commitments for its 2023 class.
Memphis has also offered players in the transfer portal and will look to be active once the portal opens Monday.
