Memphis football schedule: AAC opponents announced through 2026 after expansion

Memphis football will enter a new-look AAC next season and on Wednesday, the Tigers learned who their conference opponents will be through 2026.

The Tigers will host SMU, Tulane, South Florida and Navy next season and travel to North Texas, UAB, Charlotte and Temple. This comes after Memphis finalized its non-conference schedule by moving a home game against Missouri to St. Louis on Sept. 23.

The AAC is adding six schools next season to expand to 14 teams. It will keep an eight-game conference schedule but each team will face the other 13 conference schools at least twice over the next four years.

Each team will also face one opponent in each of the next four seasons. For Memphis, that will be UAB, which renews the "Battle for the Bones" rivalry that started in 1997 but hasn't been played since 2012 when Memphis jumped to AAC the following season.

Memphis will face SMU, Tulane, Temple and UTSA three times over the next four seasons along with two meetings with South Florida, Navy, North Texas, Charlotte, Tulsa, East Carolina, Rice and Florida Atlantic.
