Memphis football vs. North Texas kickoff time, TV info announced

Memphis will host North Texas on Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m., with the game televised on ESPN+, the AAC announced Monday.

It will be the first time the Tigers (1-1) have faced North Texas (2-1) since 2003. Memphis won 27-17 in the New Orleans Bowl, which was the Tigers' first bowl appearance since 1971.

North Texas will face Memphis more often since the Mean Green are joining the AAC next season.

Memphis plays its first home game on Saturday vs. Arkansas State (6 p.m., ESPN+) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. It's the first of four consecutive home games for the Tigers.

Saturday's game theme is the "901 Game", which culminates a week of the athletic program celebrating Memphis through various activities.
