Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant leaves people speechless on and off the court.

The NBA's reigning Most Improved Player recently left his waitress a $500 tip after a meal. The waitress stood and looked at the receipt, then questioned who Morant was. The back-and-fourth exchange led to a feel-good moment captured in the third episode of Morant's new YouTube docuseries.

After initially joking with the waitress that he is “Black Jesus,” Morant revealed he plays basketball.

“Can you go to the NBA?” the waitress asked.

“I’m already in the NBA,” Morant responded.

When Morant told the waitress that he plays for the Grizzlies, she opened her mouth in shock. Forgetting Morant's name, she raised her hands to her head, resembling one of his hairstyles to see if it was really him.

The waitress finally asked Morant, “What’s your name?”

Morant confirmed it was him, and the waitress gasped, covering her mouth with her hand and ran away from the table in amazement.

Morant has more tip money to give after agreeing to a five-year, $193 million contract extension in June. The deal could reach $231 million, and it is the largest contract Memphis has ever given.
