Memphis Grizzlies score, Ja Morant's injury status vs New Orleans Pelicans: Live updates

The next time the Memphis Grizzlies will play at home will be in the 2023 playoffs. There are still three more games left on the regular season schedule, starting with Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Memphis (50-29) is two games ahead of the Sacramento Kings for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. Since Wednesday's game is the second night of a back to back, the Grizzlies will likely be missing a couple of rotation players.

Ja Morant and Luke Kennard are listed as doubtful to play against the Pelicans. Kennard is dealing with right ankle soreness, and Morant has left hip soreness.

The Pelicans (41-39) are in the heat of the race for a top-six seed in the playoffs. All-Star Zion Williamson has missed most of the season, but Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas have paced the offense.

With Steven Adams out on Wednesday, Xavier Tillman Sr. is often the player who matches up against the bigger and stronger centers. He is listed as questionable due to right ankle soreness.

This matchup could be a potential playoff preview, minus the injuries. New Orleans is currently the No. 8 seed, which means it would be in a play-in game for a chance to play the Grizzlies.
