The Memphis Grizzlies will play in their 21st annual MLK Day game against the Phoenix Suns.

This will be the third meeting between the Grizzlies and Suns this season. All three have occurred over a month stretch.

Memphis (29-13) defeated the Suns in Desmond Bane's first game back from a sprained right big toe injury on Dec. 23. Four days later, the short-handed Suns returned the favor while missing multiple starters.

Phoenix (21-23) remains short-handed as starters Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Cameron Johnson deal with injuries. None is expected to play.

The Grizzlies have a better bill of health. Ja Morant is questionable due to left hip soreness. John Konchar missed Saturday's win against the Indiana Pacers due to a non-COVID illness. He's also listed as questionable.

Dillon Brooks missed Saturday's game with right ankle soreness, but he's not listed on the injury report and is expected to play.

The Grizzlies have won nine consecutive games since that 125-108 loss to the Suns. It is one of just three home losses for Memphis.

Phoenix has went in the opposite direction, with a 1-8 record since beating the Grizzlies.
