Memphis Grizzlies score vs. San Antonio Spurs: live updates

The Memphis Grizzlies are back on the road after a three-game homestand. The Grizzlies (7-4) went 2-1 in the three-game stretch, and now they'll turn their attention to the San Antonio Spurs.

Like most Spurs teams coached by Gregg Popovich, this group excels with ball movement. The Spurs (5-6) lead the NBA in assists per game.

The last time the Grizzlies played the Spurs, Ja Morant had one of the best games of his career. He scored 52 points, dunked on the 7-foot Jakob Poeltl and made a corner buzzer beater after a full-court pass from Steven Adams before halftime.

Adams missed Monday's game against the Boston Celtics due to right ankle soreness. He's listed as questionable against the Spurs. The injury occurred in the third quarter against the Washington Wizards on Sunday. Adams returned and made a big impact, but ankles can swell overnight.

The Sours have a dominant 74-32 lead in all-time regular-season meetings against the Grizzlies, but Memphis has had their number as of late. The Grizzlies have won the past six meetings.
