Advice from the election commission

Shelby County Election Commission administrator Linda Phillips advised voters to double-check their precinct because there have been changes.

During early voting, voters can cast their ballot at any site, she added. There has been one early voting site change, with Berclair Baptist Church closing and that site moving to Leewood Baptist Church. On Election Day, the former Berclair Baptist site will be at Su Casa Ministries.

With so many candidates on the ballot, voters will see multiple columns on the page for the mayor’s race.

“Just have a plan and know what you’re doing before you get there,” Phillips said.

Also, if you choose a paper ballot, be sure to flip it over to fill out the other side, she added.
