Memphis offensive lineman Austin Myers says he's returning for sixth season

Memphis' offensive line will get more experience next season with senior Austin Myers announcing he'll return for a sixth season.

Myers started in the Tigers' first four games at left tackle but suffered a season-ending leg injury against UTSA. Because it was his fourth game, he was eligible to petition the NCAA for a medical redshirt for an additional year from the NCAA

Myers transferred to Memphis last March after starting his career at TCU.

The Tigers already return four of five offensive line starters.from the end of last season but adding Myers brings more depth. Memphis also signed junior college lineman Davion Carter among its 2022 signing class.
