MHP/Team SI advertising agency based in Little Rock hired Amanda Mauck as account strategy director. With more than 17 years of experience in healthcare marketing, Mauck joins the agency to support its growth in the healthcare industry with an emphasis in the Memphis area. In her new position she'll help develop goals and priorities based on their business initiatives. Mauck received a master’s in business administration from Christian Brothers University. Before joining MHP/Team SI, she was with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare's corporate offices as director of web and digital strategy.

Memphis-based general contractor RKA Construction recently named Bradley Wilford as the company’s chief operating officer. He'll oversee construction operations and assist in improving processes and procedures, training, supporting and overseeing project managers. Previously, he served for five years as the vice president of Asset Management for Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Advisors. With nearly 25 years of experience in the building and real estate industry, Wilford serves as a board member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and is also a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee. He earned a bachelor's degree in real estate from the University of Memphis.

Memphis Goodwill promoted two of its employees with the elevation of Ursula Roman to vice president of Marketing and Communications. She has been associated with the company for more than a year. Roman leads and directs the growth marketing strategy campaigns, thought leadership and content marketing programs. Most recently, she was instrumental in the branding and messaging of the new Excel Center. She started her career at Memphis Goodwill as a case manager with the Contract Department. Latisha Robertson was promoted to vice president of Contract Services. She started her career as a case manager for the Contract Department, which included three government facilities in which people with disabilities and disadvantages were trained and hired for janitorial services and switchboard operations. With 19 years of experience at Memphis Goodwill, she offers support by way of training, and helping with the upkeep of contracts by offering quality control and improvement plans.

Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South named Mary Kanowitz as the nonprofit’s full-time development coordinator. For the previous eight months, Kanowitz has been part-time with JA's development and advancement efforts in support of the nonprofit organization’s mission of helping every child become world ready. Before joining Junior Achievement, she held a variety of roles in nonprofit development and advancement including serving as development and membership director at Temple Israel; contributing writer and marketing coordinator for Memphis Moms Blog; and various roles at the University of Memphis including annual giving manager, administrative secretary-associate vice president of development, and special events director in support of the school’s new music center. She earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Sabrina Fields has joined IMC Companies, the nation’s largest marine drayage company, as vice president of People Strategies and Human Resources. Prior to joining IMC Companies, she served in human resources leadership roles for more than 20 years including as Labor Relations manager at International Flavors & Fragrances, human resources manager at Rich Products Corporation and senior human resources manager at J.R. Simplot Company. In her new role, Fields will oversee IMC Companies' human resources and workforce strategies for the entire IMC Companies family of brands. Fields earned her Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.

Southern Bancorp Community Partners, a loan fund and Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in Little Rock, announced the hiring of Anthony Young as its next president. He succeeds Dr. Karama Neal, who in spring 2021 was appointed administrator for Rural Business-Cooperative Services at the United States Department of Agriculture by the Biden-Harris administration. Young most recently served as the director of Capital Programs for Epicenter, a nonprofit organization focused on growing and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Greater Memphis area.

NOTEWORTHY

The Cook & Boardman Group LLC, a leading specialty distributor of commercial door entry solutions and systems integration services, announced the acquisition of Memphis-based Universal Manufacturing Company. Universal Manufacturing was founded in 1977 by Jimmy Freudenberg and is led by Russ Gordon, company president. UMCO is a full-service distributor of commercial doors, frames, hardware and Division 10 specialty products. The company serves general contractors and end users nationally from its base of operations in Memphis.
