Welcome back to the Memphis Sports newsletter. It’s Ray Padilla, The Commercial Appeal’s digital producer, bringing you the latest in sports news.

As we start to begin seeing more headlines about our Tigers, Grizzlies and high school teams, we thought our newsletter should reflect that.

For that reason, we will begin sending our newsletters three times a week, rather than once a week like it was last season. This is hopefully to help you see all the headlines that matter to you in a timelier manner.

Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you can expect an email from us delivering more sports headlines from the sports reporters you can rely on.

(Follow us on Instagram: The @Mem.Sports Instagram account is the best place to view photos and videos of your favorite Bluff City sports’ teams.)
