Men Sought For Attacking And Robbing Man In Manassas: Police
MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed a 58-year-old man Sunday night in the 8200 block of Old Centreville Road, according to Prince William County Police. One of the men is described as Hispanic and wearing a black and tan jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. The other is described as black and wearing a black jacket, black pants and neon green shoes.
Around 11 p.m., police went to the aforementioned address for a reported robbery. The man said he was walking in the area when he was approached by two unknown men. They demanded he give them his boots and backpack. He refused, after which they assaulted him and took money from his pocked before fleeing.
He then went to a nearby business and contacted police, who searched the area to no avail. The man was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
