Menards Now Requires All Customers Wear Masks

GREENFIELD, WI — A second retailer with multiple locations in Wisconsin is now requiring that all its employees and customers wear masks during the coronavirus public health emergency.

Menards, a popular do-it-yourself and lumber supply outlet, is now requiring people wear face masks while inside the store, according to a FOX 6 report. One day earlier, Costco announced it also was requiring all customers and employees wear masks.

Menards already has several other precautions in place, including increased cleaning practices, social distancing guidelines, special elderly and vulnerable guest hours. Children younger than 16 and family pets are no longer allowed in stores as well, according to the store's website.
