Mennonite Home Communities fundraiser deemed a success

Oct. 30—OTTAWA — The second annual fundraiser to benefit the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio's Benevolent Care Fund, which provides support to care for older adults who have outlived their resources, raised nearly $50,000, officials report.

According to Daren Lee, Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio chief operating officer,"The Hats Off Gala was a great evening of fun and fellowship. After our inaugural gala last year, the increase in the outpouring of community support and giving were blessings to MHCO."
