These men's basketball players from Indiana are on teams playing in the NCAA Tournament
There are plenty of former high school basketball players from Indiana who are on rosters for IU and Purdue.
But did you know there are a slew of Hoosiers at Florida Atlantic, Xavier, Vermont and many other schools in the NCAA Tournament this year? Check out the full list below in alphabetical order:
Brooks Barnhizer, Northwestern
Barnhizer, a sophomore guard from Lafayette Jeff High School, averages 6.2 points per game and 3.8 rebounds.
Carson Barrett, Purdue
Barrett, a junior guard who played at Lafayette Central Catholic, scored a season-high 4 points against Ohio State on Feb. 19.

Nathan Childress, Indiana
Childress, a senior forward from Zionsville, has played in 5 games this year. He notched a season-high 3 minutes of game time against Iowa on Feb. 28.
Tre Coleman, Nevada
The junior forward from Jeffersonville averages 6 points per game and 3.1 rebounds.
Johnell Davis, Florida Atlantic
The sophomore guard who played at Gary 21st Century averages 13.5 points per game and 5.2 rebounds for the Owls.
Owen Dease, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
The redshirt freshman who played at Evansville Reitz has played in 21 games this season for the Islanders and averages 5 points per game.
Robin Duncan, Vermont
The fifth-year guard from Evansville Harrison scored a season-high 20 points against UMBC on Jan. 28. Duncan averages 7.8 points and 7.3 rebounds.
Walter Ellis, Grand Canyon
Ellis played at South Bend Adams and averages 4.9 points per game for Grand Canyon. He previously played for Bucknell and Brewster Academy.
Armaan Franklin, Virginia
The senior guard from Cathedral has started all 32 games for the Cavaliers, averaging 12.5 points per game and 4.2 rebounds. His season high in points came against Baylor on Nov. 18 when he scored 26. Before going to Virginia, Franklin spent two seasons playing for Indiana.
Matt Frost, Purdue
The senior forward who played high school ball at Columbus East suffered a torn ACL in a November 2022 practice and missed the 2022-2023 season.
Caleb Furst, Purdue
Furst, a sophomore forward, averages 5.6 points per game and 4.7 rebounds. The Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian alum scored a season-high 12 points against Davidson on Dec. 17.

Trey Galloway, Indiana
The Culver Academies alum scored a season-high 20 points against Nebraska on Dec. 7. Galloway, a junior guard, averages 6.8 points per game.

DeAndre Gholston, Missouri
Gholston attended high school at Gary 21st Century before playing in college at Kent State, Tallahassee Community College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In his one season at Missouri, the graduate student averages 10.7 points per game and 2.3 rebounds.
Mason Gillis, Purdue
The junior forward from New Castle scored a season-high 29 points against Penn State on Feb. 1. Gillis averages 6.7 points per game and 3.7 rebounds.

Luke Goode, Illinois
Goode, a sophomore guard who played at Homestead, averages 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds.
CJ Gunn, Indiana
The freshman guard from Lawrence North averages 2 points per game. Against Elon on Dec. 20, Gunn had season highs in points (11), minutes played (20), field goals made (5), 3-point field goals made (1), rebounds (3), assists (3) and steals (2).
Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana
The senior forward from Center Grove has been one of the best players in the country this season for the Hoosiers. Jackson-Davis averages 20.8 points per game and 10.9 rebounds and scored a season-high 35 points against Illinois on Jan. 19.

Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue
The redshirt freshman forward who played at Silver Creek averages 4.6 points per game this season.

Sam King, Purdue
The freshman forward who played at Columbus North logged a season-high of 2 minutes against Ohio State on Feb. 19.
Anthony Leal, Indiana
The junior guard who was named 2020 IndyStar Mr. Basketball playing at Bloomington South scored a season-high 2 points against Michigan State on Feb. 21.
Fletcher Loyer, Purdue
Loyer, a freshman guard who played at Homestead, averages 10.9 points per game. His season-high for points came on Jan. 13 when he scored 27 against Nebraska.

Jonah Lucas, Marquette
Lucas, a freshman guard who played at Harrison High School, scored a season-high 2 points against DePaul on Jan. 28. He has played in eight games this season.
Brandon Newman, Purdue
The Valparaiso High School graduate averages 6.1 points per game for the Boilermakers this season. Newman, a junior guard, scored a season-high of 19 points against Illinois on March 5.

Bob Nunge, Xavier
The sophomore from Castle appeared in four games this season and has played 1 minute in three of those contests.
Jack Nunge, Xavier
Nunge, who played at Castle, averages 14.1 points per game and 7.8 rebounds. He previously played at Iowa.
Hogan Orbaugh, Indiana
Orbaugh, a junior forward from Zionsville, has not logged any stats this season for IU. Last season, he served as a student assistant under Indiana Men's Basketball Director of Athletic Performance Clif Marshall. Before coming to the Hoosiers, he played two seasons at Louisville.
Nijel Pack, Miami
Pack, a third-year sophomore from Lawrence Central, has started all 30 games for the Hurricanes during the 2022-2023 season and is averaging 13.2 points per game. He previously played at Kansas State.
Dylan Penn, Vermont
Penn, a fifth-year guard, played high school ball at Evansville Reitz Memorial. He averages 13.5 points per game and 3.1 rebounds. Before coming to Vermont, Penn played four seasons at Bellarmine.
Tony Perkins, Iowa
Perkins, a junior who attended Lawrence North, has started in all 30 games for the Hawkeyes this season. He averages 12.4 points per game and 4 rebounds.
Dylan Ritter, Charleston
The sophomore guard from Zionsville has played in 12 games this season for the Cougars and has a season-high of 3 points in a Jan. 16 game against William & Mary.
Nike Sibande, Pitt
Sibande, a redshirt senior who played for Crispus Attucks, averages 3.9 points per game. He previously played at Miami (Ohio).
Braden Smith, Purdue
Smith, who won the 2022 IndyStar Mr. Basketball award playing for Westfield, has averaged 9.8 points, 4.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game for the Boilermakers as a freshman.

Brian Waddell, Purdue
Waddell, a redshirt freshman from Carmel, scored a season-high 5 points against Austin Peay on Nov. 11.

D.J. Wilkins, Drake
The graduate student from Merrillville averages 8.2 points per game. Wilkins, who previously played one season at Florida Southwestern, scored a season-high 21 points on Nov. 26 against Louisiana.
