For Mental Health Action Day, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. announced its action plan for staffers with a new wellness platform.

Strive, a new partnership with corporate solution firm Aduro, aims to cultivate a holistic, proactive, and inclusive approach to improving mental health among employees, the company said Thursday.

The virtual platform will be available starting in June 2021 and will provide one-on-one coaching and well-being support and will also aid employees’ wellness experience by offering opportunities to win gift cards, save money on health insurance and more.

“Understanding how employees leveraged our mental health benefits throughout the pandemic inspired us to partner with Aduro for the launch of this new platform,” the company’s diversity, inclusion and people chief Marissa Andrada said with the announcement. “By offering access to a personal wellness coach, individualized content, and solutions for selfcare, our goal is to foster a continual culture of wellbeing for all employees.”

To support customers’ mental health, Chipotle Rewards members received push notifications reminding them to “check in on someone today.”

The internet-based communication also will provide resources for people to take real action for themselves, loved ones and the community.
