Mental Health: Diversus offers 24/7 walk-in crisis center
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Diversus Health is taking the opportunity to reach out to the community after tragic incidents at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) this week shook the city.
In a statement Friday, Feb. 16, the Diversus team said they were shocked and heartbroken following another act of gun violence in the Colorado Springs community. Diversus focuses on mental and emotional health and wellness and offers a wide variety of services that can be accessed by the public in times of distress.
They are encouraging anyone experiencing a mental or emotional health crisis to please take advantage of their 24/7 walk-in crisis services. The address for the walk-in center is 115 S. Parkside Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Diversus also encourages anyone who needs to talk to call their crisis hotline (number below).
