Mentor Public Library to celebrate World Kindness Day with kids program

Oct. 27—Mentor Public Library is hosting a special kindness-themed reading and craft to celebrate World Kindness Day at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at its Lake Branch, 5642 Andrews Road in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

First, children ages 6 to 10 can enjoy a reading of "Each Kindness." The award-winning book by Ohio native Jacqueline Woodson shares the impact kindness can make. Then the children can decorate their own kindness rock.

Finally, every child will receive their own copy of "Each Kindness" to take home with them.

The program is free to attend, but due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library's Lake Branch at 440-257-2512.
