Mar. 27—The life and legacy of King George V will be explored during a free lecture at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at Mentor Public Library's Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.

Librarian and royalty expert Traci Hoffman will explore the impact of the second-born son of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. Despite being pigeonholed as a "dull man," King George V made several groundbreaking changes to the Crown during his reign from 1910 to 1936, according to a news release.

This talk kicks off Hoffman's series about the House of Windsor.

It is free to attend, but due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library at 440-255-8811, ext. 1.
