Mentor Public Library sets dates for March computer classes

Mar. 11—Mentor Public Library announced it is hosting four free computer classes at its Lake Branch this March.

The classes include introductions to computers, the Internet, email and Facebook. The classes are:

—Facebook Basics at 10 a.m., March 22. The hands-on class will demonstrate basic Facebook features and tips. Attendees are asked to come to class with their Facebook login information and

password.

—Basic Computers — the library's most basic computer class — at 2 p.m. , March 22. People will learn the basic skills they need to use a computer. No previous experience is required.

—Basic Email skills at 10 a.m., March 29. Attendees can learn how to send emails and attachments, as well as reply to other people's emails.

—Basic Internet at 2 p.m., March 29. Participants can learn how to navigate the Internet. Attendees will need to know how to use a keyboard and a mouse for this class

All of the classes are free, but registration is required and opens two weeks before each class. RSVP at www.mentorpl.org by calling the library at 440-257-2512.

The Lake Branch is located at 5642 Andrews Road in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
