Mar. 27—Mentor Public Library is hosting a special symphonic story time that celebrates the work of Mo Willems on April 10 at its Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.

Willems' picture books are beloved by generations of children and the grownups who read with them, according to a news release. His creations include Knuffle Bunny, The Pigeon, and Elephant and Piggie.

This story time will include a craft as well as a screening of "Because, A Symphony of Serendipity" — another of Willems' works — by the National Symphony Orchestra.

The story time is open to all ages but recommended for kids 5 and older. There will be multiple story times throughout the day, starting at 11 a.m., noon, and 1 and 2 p.m.

No registration is required.
