Meriden Football Team's Season Suspended After Positive Tests

MERIDEN, CT — After two players recently tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Meriden Raiders youth football team's season was suspended by Timothy Coon, Meriden city manager, writes WTNH-TV.

The two positive tests led to 62 people having to self-quarantine, according to officials.

WFSB-TV reports that officials have seen an increase in COVID-19 cases in the city in recent weeks.
