Mesa County issues warning about dairy product recall

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — Mesa County Public Health put out an alert warning the public of a recall of several dairy products, including cheese, yogurt and sour cream.

Rizo Lopez Foods, Inc. announced they’re recalling several of their products due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. The products are sold nationwide and may have been sold in Mesa County.

The recalled products were sold under the following brand names:

  • Tio Francisco

  • Don Francisco

  • Rizo Bros

  • Rio Grande

  • Food City

  • El Huache

  • La Ordena

  • San Carlos

  • Campesino

  • Santa Maria

  • Dos Ranchitos

  • Casa Cardenas

  • 365 Whole Foods Market
