Mesa County Sheriff’s seeks help finding missing endangered woman

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing adult woman.

88-year-old Ruby Kane was last seen Jan. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of 32 Road in Clifton. She suffers from a cognitive deficiency which may cause confusion, as well as other medical issues that require medication.

Ruby is a white female, 135 pounds and 5’4″ tall with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue denim jeans.

Ruby drives a green 2007 Subaru hatchback wagon bearing Colorado license plate 735-YQF. The vehicle has a luggage rack on top and a dent near the latch at the back of the vehicle.

She previously resided in California and still has ties there — officials say it’s possible she could be traveling in that direction.

If you have seen Ruby Kane or know where she is, contact the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office at 970-242-6707 or call 911.
