Messer, Rust & Burkert change location

Oct. 11—GREENSBURG — The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce held a joint ribbon cutting ceremony with the Batesville Chamber of Commerce Friday afternoon. Both businesses (Langen Meats and Ameriprise Financial — Messer, Rust and Burkert) are members of both chambers!

Angie Messer and Spencer Burkert are both financial advisors/financial planners for Ameriprise Financial. Burkert was born and raised in the Greensburg community and takes pride in educating local youth and individuals on the financial aspects of their lives.

"We have been with Ameriprise Financial for five years," Messer said. "Our team, Messer, Rust & Burkert, provides investment products as well as comprehensive financial planning, and that's something that I feel like a lot of people don't know where to go for questions. A lot of people have 401-K or retirement accounts of some sort but they don't really get any advice on it, and that is our primary niche, providing advice for individuals on retirement as well as college planning, different goal planning, taxes, estate planning, just real comprehensive financial advice.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the parking lot between Langen Meats and Ameriprise Financial — Messer, Rust & Burkert.

Messer, Rust & Burkert Advisors is located at 101 S. East Street in Greensburg. The business is open from 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
