Another day, another celebrity dashes our hopes of a Masked Singer appearance. This time, it's How I Met Your Mother and Full House star Bob Saget.

Although the debut series of The Masked Singer UK crowned its winner last week – Nicola Roberts as Queen Bee – over in the US, the wonderfully absurd reality show is continuing apace, introducing six more contestants this week alone.

Following Wednesday's (February 19) episode, the mysterious Taco has caught viewers' attention after their impressive rendition of Frank Sinatra's 'Fly Me to the Moon'.

Judge Robin Thicke threw Bob Saget's name into the Masked Singer ring, a suggestion that was quickly endorsed by fellow judges Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg. Bob himself, however, is not impressed by the panel's guess.

In a tweet that has since been suspiciously deleted, Bob – who voiced the future Ted Mosby in HIMYM – addressed the "nice people" of Twitter, insisting that he is not "the friggin' Taco".

"Dear nice people, I ain't the friggin' Taco. Why would I want to be a mascot? They say any press is good press – but the taco? A burrito, maybe. Best wishes, Bob", he wrote (via TVLine).

Whatever you say, Bob.

Elsewhere on The Masked Singer US, viewers have already seen the identities of Robot, Llama, Miss Monster, and Elephant revealed, but the remaining contestants are a technicolour mystery.

Fortunately, we at Digital Spy have generously shared our theories right here, making the kind of well-founded guesses the actual judges might miss.

The Masked Singer US airs on FOX.
