Metals manufacturer adding jobs in local expansion
A metals manufacturer plans to increase its employee count in the Charlotte region.

Prime Materials Recovery Inc. announced this week that its subsidiary, IMC Metals America, would hire 75 to 80 employees in Cleveland County as part of its expansion in the copper rod market. IMC Metals will install a SCR 4500 copper rod system from the Southwire Co. at a new plant at its existing site in Shelby.
The company currently employs around 110 workers there.
