Meth arrests by PCSO

Jul. 26—PICKENS COUNTY — The Pickens County Sheriff's Office made two seperate meth arrests during routine traffic stops earlier this month.

According to officers, on July 6, Steve Whitmire was pulled over on Amberwood Road where deputies searched his vehicle and found an intent to distribute quantity of methamphetamine. Police say Whitmire admitted to deputies that he had purchased the drugs just before the traffic stop. Whitemire was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine — 1st Offense.

Six days later on July 12, a woman was arrested on Carmel Church Road after law enforcement found a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine and an intent to distribute quantity of methamphetamine during a consensual search of her vehicle. According to deputies, Mosley was behaving strangely and shaking when approached by officials. Mosley was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine — 1st Offense
