MANITOWOC - Live music, a bike race, Night Market 920, a Juneteenth celebration and an art show are all on the slate this week.

Here's your look at five things to do in Manitowoc.

1. Metro Jam makes some noise this weekend

The 43rd annual Metro Jam is back in Washington Park, 1115 Washington St., this weekend on both Friday and Saturday.

The free event will include a variety of show-stopping acts, including Jennie Devoe, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and The Steepwater Band.

The music festival starts at 5 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday.

2. Watch bikers zip past during the Maritime Bay Classic

This Sunday, the Maritime Bay Classic is coming back to downtown Manitowoc.

This race is part of the Tour of America’s Dairyland bike series and is the perfect way to spend Father’s Day.

You can watch bikers zip past as they vie for first place while enjoying tasty eats and sips.

This year, a “food court” will be available on York Street featuring selections from Brian’s Smokehouse, Manitowoc Coffee, Ryan’s on York and PetSkull Brewing Company.

The races kick off around noon and go into the evening.

3. Check out the return of Night Market 920

Night Market 920 returns to the downtown Manitowoc riverfront on June 22.

This year, there will be three different dates, all on Wednesday nights — June 22, July 20 and Aug. 10.

From 5 to 9:30 p.m., there will be food trucks, local producers and vendors, family activities, and live music.

The first Night Market 920 will feature the sounds of Smoke Road.

4. Attend Manitowoc's Juneteenth celebration

Join Lakeshore's United Visionaries in celebrating Juneteenth on Sunday in Citizen Park from noon to 6 p.m.

There will be food and drinks, music, softball, basketball, sack races, face painting, two bounce houses and more.

5. See League of Milwaukee Artists' 'Road Trip' exhibit at Rahr-West

This weekend brings a new exhibit to the Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc.

The League of Milwaukee Artists’ “Road Trip” will be celebrated with an opening reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event free and open to the public.

Rahr-West Art Museum is at 610 N. Eighth St. and is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free, although donations are accepted.
