When it comes to expressing gratitude, the gift of food is one of the most appreciated gestures. So, on a day designated to honor the men and women who have served in the military restaurants around the Valley are saying thank you.

All offers are good on Nov. 11 only except where noted. And proper identification may be required to receive the deals.

Veterans and active military receive 10% off their order. Also, during the month of November, the restaurant will donate 10% of proceeds to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 472. The organization supports combat wounded veterans and their families, fosters camaraderie and goodwill among veterans and provides mentorship and support to ROTC students.

The annual Veterans Day party honors those who serve with a free meal for active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders and nurses. A vintage car show and free live concert are part of the day-long festivities. Proceeds from the event benefit Tunnel to Towers Tempe, a nonprofit organization founded in honor of Firefighter Stephen Siller who lost his life in the line of duty on September 11, 2001, as well as all first responders and military heroes that have also made the ultimate sacrifice.
