32nd Annual St. Pat’s Mexican Fiesta
What: There will be games, face painting, a bake sale, food raffles and free entertainment.

National Arts in Education Week: Student Exhibition
What: Come for an exhibition of the winners for National Arts in Education Week. Student artwork will be up in the first-floor middle gallery. Meet the artists, Cari Scott, Dylan Parcel, Jana Carlson, Sofia Dixon, and Celeste Botello at a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.

Thursday Night Jazz
What: Thursday Night Jazz kicks off Sept. 14 and will be held every Thursday night while Knox is in session. Free admission; cash bar available. The Fall Jazz Series brings us jazz voices from the region. A different guest artist will hold a workshop/conversation with the attendees at 6 p.m., with Cherry St. Combo performance afterward. Bring your dinner or order carry-out.

14th Annual Honor Flight Benefit
What: The Honor Flight Benefit begins with a lunch at the Colony School. Lunch will be by free will donation. There will also be live music, a live auction and raffle. Bluegrass music provided by the Tap Root Wranglers. All proceeds from the day’s events will be donated to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. The Bishop Hill Honor Flight Committee is organizing this benefit.
