Aug. 11—Luis Miguel started his career as a child star at the age of 12, when he released his first album, "Un Sol." He won his first Grammy at the age of 15 for his duet with Sheena Easton, "Me Gustas Tal Como Eres." Since then, he has been nominated for 15 Grammys and has won six.

The ballad singer has released 21 studio albums and released his last album, "¡México Por Siempre!" in 2017. He then released "Luis Miguel: The Series" on Netflix in 2018.

This is not the first time Miguel has performed in Connecticut. According to setlist.fm, the ballad singer performed at Mohegan Sun in 2008.

Other Latin artists have been making stops in Connecticut as well. Colombian artist Maluma is set to perform at Mohegan Sun on Oct. 7, Myke Towers recently announced a show at Oakdale Theatre on Nov. 14 and Eladio Carrión is also set to perform at Oakdale Theatre on Oct. 13.

Tickets for Luis Miguel at Mohegan Sun range from $101 to $207 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on Ticketmaster.
