The New Mexico State women's basketball team came from behind in the fourth quarter to end the regular season with a road win.

The Aggies finished the regular season 15-15 overall and 10-8 in the Western Athletic Conference with a 70-64 road win at Sam Houston on Thursday.

Next up for the Aggies is the WAC Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Aggies entered play on Thursday slotted in the No. 7 spot in the WAC Resume Seeding System. The No. 7 seed plays the No. 10 seed (Texas Rio Grande Valley on Thursday) at 7 p.m., on Monday in the first round at Michelob Ultra Arena. If the Aggies drop to the No. 8 seed, they play the first game of the tournament at 1 p.m., on Monday.

The Aggies trailed 53-49 entering the fourth quarter but outscored Sam Houston 21-11 in the final quarter.

Soufia Inoussa (16 points) gave the Aggies the lead with 3:37 to play at 60-59 and Tayelin Grays (nine points, eight rebounds) scored to make it 62-59. Molly Kaiser scored 24 points, closing the game with a lay up off a steal and free throws.
