Might as well call the South Shore the hub of high school girls soccer in Massachusetts.
The area will have five teams competing in the MIAA state championships on Saturday. Division 5 is the lone girls soccer final without South Shore representation. The Patriot League will have teams in the Div. 1 (Hingham), Div. 2 (Silver Lake) and Div. 3 (Hanover) finals.
The Oliver Ames boys and girls soccer teams will be trying to double up state titles in Div. 2. Cohasset is trying to avenge a loss in last year's Div. 4 final.

South Shore
Girls Soccer
Div. 1: Hingham 1, Algonquin 0: Sophie Reale scored the lone goal as the Harborwomen took home their first state title since 2016.

Div. 2: Silver Lake 1, Oliver Ames 0: Avery DePaul scored the lone goal to help lift the Lakers to the first state title in program history.

Div. 3: Hanover 1, Dedham 0: Mia Pongratz made a critical save on a penalty kick late and Sophia Foley scored the lone goal to lift the Hawks.

Div. 4: Cohasset 2, Northbridge 0: Cat Herman and Tess Barrett scored goals as the Skippers won their first state title.

Boys Soccer
Div. 2: Oliver Ames 3, Hopkinton 2: OA's Craig Curchill and Hector Bucio both scored goals in the final five minutes to lift the Tigers out of a 2-1 hole.
