Highlights of Wednesday's workout:

* Tua Tagovailoa opened the drills with a 15-yard strike to Tyreek Hill. Spreading the love, he followed by connecting with Jaylen Waddle.

* Antoine Winfield had a pass break-up when Tagovailoa tried to find Hill.

* Joe Tryon-Shoyinka had a blatant face mask penalty when he tried to catch up with speedy Raheem Mostert.

* Bucs QB coach Clyde Christensen, a former Dolphins offensive coordinator, took his QBs inside for what appeared to be a cool-down period midway through practice. Yes, it was sizzling out there.

* Michael Deiter, who is beginning to ramp up his work following an injury, threw a nice block that helped spring Mostert for a nice gain.

* While under pressure, Tagovailoa was able to find Hill for 10 yards.

* Rookie Erik Ezukanma continues to impress. He made several catches vs. the Bucs.

* Teddy Bridgewater threw a high pass to Preston Williams over the middle. Williams attempted to help his QB with a twisting catch but the ball ricocheted off his hands and was intercepted by Devin White. Not Williams' fault.

* Bridgewater rebounded by finding tight end Tanner Conner in traffic.

* Speaking of which, has anybody seen some of the other tight ends on the Dolphins?

* Tagovailoa didn't capitalize on a play in which Waddle and Hill lined up on the same side but the Bucs had only one defensive back in the area.

* Tagovailoa hit River Cracraft in the end zone with a pass of about 20 yards, but it was debatable whether the Bucs' defense would have had a sack on the play. QBs, of course, wear red non-contact jerseys.

* In a battle of two-minute drills, the Dolphins came up empty but Tom Brady drove Tampa Bay for a 33-yard field goal. The Bucs' possession began with Emmanuel Ogbah (have you heard this before?) batting down a Brady pass.
