The Miami Herald South Florida baseball and softball rankings (April 4)

The fourth installment of the Miami Herald’s South Florida Top 10 rankings for baseball and softball. The Stoneman Douglas baseball team survived a difficult three-game stretch where it beat Columbus, North Broward Prep and Archbishop McCarthy to extend its winning streak to 37 in a row.

There was some movement elsewhere in the rankings as two-time defending state champion Miami Christian enters the poll this week on a seven-game winning streak.

Meanwhile in softball, Coral Springs Charter remains on top, but Coral Reef and Florida Christian crack the rankings after impressive performances recently.
