Miami Man Joined by Whale Shark During Underwater Fishing Excursion
A man was joined on his underwater fishing excursion by a whale shark in the waters off Miami, Florida.
In the video uploaded to Instagram on December 6, the whale shark can be seen a short distance away from where Matthew Pawlik was diving.
Despite frequently fishing in the waters, this was the first time Pawlik swam with a shark, describing the moment as “very special.” Pawlik told Storyful that the shark “stayed for a few minutes then swam away”. Credit: Matthew Pawlik via Storyful
